Consol Associates was formed in 2002 by the current directors, Spencer Goodyear and Jon Bowler and is now a respected and established Company providing Quantity Surveying, Project Management and supporting services such as planning supervision, contractual advice, dispute management/resolution and pre-planning support to developers and contractors.
SPENCER GOODYEAR MCIOB MaPS
Spencer's career commenced in 1982 working for a national contractor on a number of prestigious multi-million pound projects. To develop his career in project management Spencer joined Frankham & Co, a project management consultancy specialising in the leisure, hotel and retail markets.
White Young Green and Rex Proctor & Partners gave Spencer the opportunity to extend his skills on larger complex schemes, such as DERA Farnborough for the MOD and the new command centre for Hampshire Police and to add further experience predominately in the commercial and retail sectors.
In May 2000, Spencer joined Metropolis, a central London based urban residential developer working as an in house project manager on a number of new build and refurbishment schemes prior to setting up Consol Associates in November 2002 with Jon Bowler. |
JON BOWLER DipSurv MRICS
Jon commenced his career in 1982 with QS practice Cecil Baker & Partners working on many local and regional multi million pound projects.
To broaden his construction experience, Jon joined regional contractors Buxton Building Contractors in 1992 working on a wide range of educational, residential and commercial projects.
Jon later joined Crispin & Borst, where he was a key member on schemes such as the refurbishment of Chelsea Old Town Hall, a project that was a finalist in the 2000 Building Awards.
Jon then joined Metropolis to set up and head the complete in-house commercial department which included undertaking development appraisals, tender and contract negotiations and the complete post contract commercial management of the residential and mixed use schemes.
Jon founded Consol Associates with Spencer Goodyear in November 2002. |
